Summary

We return to the Storytellers mini-series, where Griffin Van Nest describes the best 50th birthday present he never expected - sharing a beer on stage with Dave Grohl.

Griffin takes us back to the 'Break a Leg' tour in 2015, when he saw Foo Fighters in Clarkston, Michigan - a show that happened to fall on his milestone birthday.

Thanks to a friend's connection with Warner Brothers, Griffin found himself in the front pit with a scrawled cardboard sign reading 'It's my 50th birthday, let's have a beer'.

What followed was a 90-second rock and roll moment that he'll never forget.
